Okay, so I have to write a paper on a good leader, but I want to write it on a BAD guy.?

I was thinking about doing Hitler, and writing how even though he was a terrible, bad person, he was still good at leading his followers. I decided against it, because I didn't want my teacher thinking I was anti-Semitic or some freak psycho Hitler worshiper. Who's a bad guy that isn't THAT bad that I can write a paper like this on? If that makes sense. I am doing this because I want the paper to have a twist.
