Where is a good place in new york for a girl to go out and celebrate her birthday.?

I'm in my twenties have a hotel in the city for the 27th of November and need a place to go. I'm going out with my girls... we wanna dance and drink and have a great time and meet new people.... any new yorkers (or anyone else) have suggestions?????
